The official letter no. 1877/TCT-CS dated 07 june 2013 of gdt in guidance of writing foreign words on invoice
According to the official letter No.1877/TCT-CS :
Names of goods and services are written on invoices in Vietnamese words. Foreign words must be put into a dash ( ) or put under the Vietnamese line and the word sizes are smaller than Vietnamese if enterprises want them to be added on invoices. Because chemical commodities are named with their chemical formulas and cannot be translated into Vietnamese, enterprises must add the words” chemical products in Vietnamese” in front of the foreign words when the invoices are issued. For example:
A name of a chemical commodity (chemical formula in German): RHEOBUILD 561V
The commodity should be written on an invoice is "Sản phẩm hóa chất RHEOBUILD 561V"
